Many thanks for this. I had the radio unlocked for £10 at a local shop, so I never got chance to test your number.

My daughter is a student, which as you all know means cash is scarce. She has an old Metro 114 and the radio no longer works since the battery went flat. I got that sorted out but now find the radio is not working. I would be grateful for any help in unlocking it. The numbers we found on the radio are type 22DC652/60E FDO195022487194. Number etched into the side RG652FS2487194. RG part no XQD10056, and two barcodes, 90222165260201 and 00195022487194. I'm a single parent, trying to save a bit of cash, which is why I'm glad I found this site. From what I've seen, you all seem to want to help each other out, a rare thing these days. Thanks in advance for any help you can supply.

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster.
We've just had to swap our car battery and its now asking for a code, hopefully someone on here would be able to help?
From what the sticker on the top of the radio says, the serial is M101883.
Also, is there a certain amount of attempts you can make?
