Hi folks

Interesting reading, it's amazing what you learn when the garage disconnects the battery...

Anyway, it seems the radio in our Zafira - as well as being in SAFE mode after a visit to the garage - is not the original. I have a serial number and code on the car's Pass Card but the code doesn't work.

I took the radio out (using an old coathanger - very MSE) as advised on this very forum, the serial is in fact:

GM050031996210

Any help/guidance much appreciated.

I bought a Mondeo about 12 months ago - no problems til now. Had to change battery and when I put the code in from my manual it doesn't work.

Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
