Hi the info that I got from the stereo is
    6000cd
    DP MV SH
    50700012
    07 02 00

    Cheers matey

Where did you get the numbers from?
Most European radios start with M (or if unlucky V) then 6 numbers.
Often you will get this by pressing 1+6 or 2+6 if not then afraid you will have to remove unit and get number from the back of it
  • Could anyone help with with a code for a Ford StreetKa stereo code M002605

  • Hi all,

I have a VDO CDR 500 in need of a code. Are you able to provide one for this? I can see you can't for Delco but I didn't know if it was essentially the same radio.

If you can, I'll get some Din keys to get the serial. Many thanks.
  • Hi Scottish Sapper/ Molerat

Thanks for that I have entered it as you said however when I first did it I didnt realise you had to press 5 to enter it. I then read the instructions could I have done something with it , what about putting 1234 in or 0000 these are numbers that people have told
    me are the default numbers.

To the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as a default number (would defeat the purpose of a security code!)

I suggested in last post that you remove the unit and actually look at the serial number. If the serial numbers match then the only thing I can think is the unit has been re-coded in the past, if so you will have to take it and get it done again!!

Late Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (no SELECT button)

    ie. Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

If "LOCK 10" is shown on the display, please contact us for guidance. If the display shows "LOCK 13" code entry will not be possible, and the unit will need to be electronically decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

Early Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (units with SELECT button)

    ie. Ford 2005, 2006, 2015, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display.

If CODE does not appear immediately, press the SELECT button momentarily, and CODE should then appear on the display.

Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press the "SELECT" button to enter.
