  • Apologies to ScottishSapper. Didn't mean to offend. The money we raise by charging 99p goes directly the charity concerned and not to us. Total raised to date is more than £4000. Kind Regards, Robert.

    Hi Robert
    No offence mate:cool:
Actually applaud your charity raising effort, it's just as a Money Saving Forum and the codes are supplied here FREE then to promote a paying service don't seem right.

Thanks ScottishSapper, i checked that site out and it seems that I need a din release key but can't find one on ebay. The ones that I bought were supposed to be for a 106 but clearly aren't. Do you think thin screwdrivers pushed into the holes will work? I have no wire coathangers!

If the unit has round holes in you have the correct keys. Don't push them in too hard. Often the radio has been removed before and to make it fit tighter the tags have been pushed outwards making it very difficult to get the key behind, you could actually be pushing the key the wrong side of the tag and locking it in harder. You could try something thinner like very thin screwdrivers. Push them in at an angle from towards the centre of the radio if you see what I mean. This will often catch the tag if it has been pushed outwards.
