all serial numbers came from the info sheet that came from ford with the car
model 3000 unit type fd 3000 serial number M224240 and key code 0904. l understand l use select number button i.e 1 =0 2 =9 3=0 4= 4 then press number 5 did that and now radio has locked out .

Hi,

I am having a nightmare trying to unlock my car stereo, it took about a week of messing with a coathanger to get it (my cd player) out of the car to read the serial number, and now looking online I am quoted £20 for the code? Mental.

Anyone able to get the code for a clarion cd player:

Your code is correct .
Did you get the info sheet from Fords with the NEW car?


Easiest answer , remove radio from dash ....... as thousands have and double check the magic M******

My daughters car radio in her 03 Renault Clio Billabong is now locked due to a fuse problem. It is built in to the car, do we need a serial number?

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes
