BUT of course they often do . Worth a try , ebay going to be a few days and will cost . If you have a wire coat hanger , cutting the two lower corners off , takes seconds and is certainly worth a try .

You need to push the wire ends in a few inches , you cant do any damage , its only external catches that you are trying to release.

fiats puntos are particularly bad at releasing if it was a ford im a coat hanger man all day:)
i actually removed my fiat cd player to check some codes the other day and had to struggle to get it out with new pins,i had to chop one side off before i could replace back in dash:mad:
