Car Radio Unlocking
Comments
-
Hello,
I've just bought an Opel Astra - 2002, so a secon-hand car. The previous owner says that he's no code.
I cant disconnect the radio by myself; no tools, no experience etc.
I was wondering whether you could help me with the codes on the panel only? I guess not, but couldnt help asking it.
Thanks in advance for your response.

thanks
Unfortunately thats still not it, what you need to do is remove your ford radio (by buying the removal keys online or trying to find another method) and find the code starting with M and followed by 6 numbers, this could also be in the manual somewhere?0 -
Hi,
Need your assistance for the 6000 model as well, After pressing the combination of 1 and 6 I got many numbers
SWP1-8M5T
SWP2-14C044
SWP3-AH
SWP4-
Is this the SN or it doesn't help....????
thanks

There is no need to buy the 'removal keys'
With a little patience you can use 2 thin screwdrivers or an old wire coat hanger. Insert them one side at a time and you will hear the catches release, pull that side slightly then repeat on other side0 -

Afraid you are going to have to remove the unit.
See post 22605 for tip on how to do it0 -

I'm sure the only way is to remove the unit. With a little patience it is not too hard.
