I've disconnected the battery on my focus (earthing problem) and discovered it need a radio code even though the buttons are also detachable.
What information do you need? I have VIN and Registration numbers.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++

If it's M then post the serial, if it's V then they are NOT avail free online.

I recently changed the battery on my vauxhall which resulted in the battery obviously being disconnected. Therefore the radio came up safe and I know need the code as there is no code card in the cars folder and vauxhall want me to pay..
Could someone help?!
