Thanks so much RegWorts, it worked straight away. It says "1 hour" when I first turn it on which it doesn't mention in the manual but it works fine.

Beckie, it will say 1Hour if you turn it on without the ignition on, this is to enable you to listen to the radio without the keys in the ignition, it will then turn itself off after 1 Hour to save the battery. Hope this helps.
