Hi,

I was wondering if you can help me. I have in my possession a recently purchased LDV Maxus with an MG Rover CD413X Radio and would very much appreciate the radio code for it. The minibus was got at an auction and there's no documentation bearing the radio code to be entered.

The three sets of numbers on the radio are as follows:

I knew you would say that, lol. I have a piece of paper that was left in the car when I bought it that has that same code on, I tried it twice and the radio wouldn't accept it.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

1. Is the M code you have actually off the stereo?
If it was then,

2. Have you entered the code properly see here

3. It is possible the stereo could have been replaced.

4. The stereo could have been blocked before and recoded.

I don't know about the stereo being replaced but I have entered the code correctly and I'vejust tried it again and now the radio is displaying a count-down from 30 minutes. What does that mean?

It means the code you have entered is incorrect. Do not enter that code again. Remove the radio and take the M serial off of the unit. http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=35 Throw your piece of paper in the bin !!
