ok just to add to this,i was told on another site to hold 5 for 10 seconds after inputting the code to store it and now im getting "1 hour mode" after pressing it and then radio turns off???im rightly stumped

ha cheers again mate,but its going off straight away after 1 hour mode comes on and when i turn it back on its going straight back to code input,and when it switches off the screen goes blank but the back light stays on.iv a ford focus the last 5 years so i know the ins and outs of the ford stereos and their codes but this one has me rightly confused. have asked for help on a few other sites aswell and no1 seems to know whats going on with it but i do appreciate all your help

post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
