The battery was dead and know it doesn't work:mad:

I have found a code written (4814)on the side of the player, so I entered that and it wont seem to accept it

It just keeps saying wait 30minutes. I have tried turning off
and trying again after 30 minutes and then I unplugged it and waited 1hour, still not working:(

Anyone got any ideas, or codes????:rotfl:

Hi,

I have a Kenwood KDC 5027y cd player...had it for years but not benn able to use it as I don't have the code. it says on the bottom of the stero - KE1056S0100144 AND ALSO y22-9992-70.

If anybody has a code for this it would be great as I really love the stereo just unable to use it

Hello again, i tried that but no joy. I guess i really need to get the model no of the stereo to be sure i have the right code.
Do you think it's worth disconnecting the battery (which is why i'm in this situation in the first place - changed a dead battery) for the stereo to reset itself, then do as you suggest?
