can any one help me i've just put in a code for ford radio 5000 rds and its counting down thirty mins wot does that mean????

It means you put the wrong code in and you have got to wait 30 mins to try again. Pull the unit out, give us the M number and we will give you the correct code.

Serial number on sticker & etched in to radio = BP8146Y8561876

If it IS a FORD and the number quoted MOD6431E1 has been misread and can be read as M006431 then your code will be 7248
Otherwise I don`t really recognise the numbers.
