EDIT: Just found a calculator. It tells me it is 1298 is that right?

Got to wait 20 minutes to put the code in you see & then it will be 40 minutes if it's wrong.

It will be interesting to see if your 1298 works as Philips codes using the Serial Number have to be looked up on a database....and unfortunately this Serial Number is not on the only commercially available database.

This means that it`s the Main Dealer or Radio Decoding Service only for this code

LOL! I know how you feel. I retired (early) from work a few years ago, and from this thread a while ago and came back, just for a look, and got hooked again. I think ScottishSapper has managed to resist coming back so far.

Hi, tried 'restoredclassic' but they couldnt help.

they did say the Volvo radio SC 802 is made by mitsubushi and the code is dealer only.

last resort i rang my local volvo dealer and they gave me it, free of charge, over the phone just quoting the cars reg number.:T

didnt even get shoved from pillar to post first. :rotfl:
