First of all- Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you had a great day yesterday!!

I am really hoping you can save me from a 3 hour journey in silence tomorrow! I'm looking for the radio code for my Fiesta 4500 radio- the serial number is M038948

Any help majorly appreciated! Cheers

My car broke down last week in the snow and I had it repaired this week. I've gone to start the car for the first time today and my radio is asking for a code. I would appreciate any help to get it working again

I can see that people are posting their serial numbers, where can I find this? My car is a W reg Ford Fiesta. It still has the original radio.

The radio SERIAL NUMBER will be required for calculating a code

On some radios, pressing Buttons 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 (together) may display a Serial Number.

If not , then remove the radio from the dashboard and the required number will be found on a label on the radio casing

It normally begins with M******


Here is a video showing how to remove a standard radio from the dashboard.
A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4
securing clips

Hi!

Returned to airport parking and found my car (Rover 25) with flat battery- now radio is asking for code. Radio is so old-stylish and it should be binned and replaced, but for now it would be nice to have some sound while driving... Can someone help with the code?

THANK YOU !!!!!!!! What a life saver, we've had no radio for almost a month which is fine for short journeys about town, but a 3 hour treck in the snow wasn't going to be much fun with no music. My OH breathed a sigh of relief when it worked & he discovered he'd not have to listen to my singing
