The radio has reverted back to the code request after counting down from 30mins. are you expected to start using the radio in the 30 minuted window in order to activate it again? Leaving it alone clearly just allows it to default to the code request once more

Can anyone help with the code for a Ford 6000 CD stereo - I had to have a new battery fitted and was gutted to find that in all the peperwork I got when I bought the car there's no code! I'm dreading the thought of a 300 mile drive later on without any music!

The serial number on the unit is M209209.
