there's no need to be cheeky..... its a 3 part radio which is in behind the panel which is screwed in so yes there is screws involved

Well I never ! a three part ford radio that I say does not need a screwdriver .
You could ask .... nicely and we could help . And yes no screwing needed.

Sods law I put the dud radio in first and asked for a code for it. Hay88 gave me a code but honestly the radio display is broken so I have no way of knowing if I entered it correctly, in any case I binned that radio and tried the other one.

I understand why you wouldn't want to give me another code in case of being a trader or chancer as you put it but honestly that is not the case.

Unfortunately the code for GM0400X2489775 is not in the available database (as it must be post 2000 ) so will only be available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service
