Which radio have you got in the focus ?
If you look at the radio , is there four small square holes

First thing to try , find a wire coat hanger.
Cut off the two corners, allowing at least 6 inches on each arm.
Bend wire until you can insert both ends into the ( same side) holes
Same with other piece of wire.
Push into holes firmly ( they should go in number of inches.)
You now have a radio with a couple of loops sticking out.
Push loops inwards and wriggle.
Radio not you , gentle pull.0 -

Screw driver wont help.
Some do it with four small ones but the wire coat hanger is my option0 -
