Help when driving home in last weeks snow my car skidded and stalled when i restarted the car the radio had stopped working and was asking me for a code that i do not have after some research on the internet i made a radio removal tool out of a wire coathanger and am now hoping for help the radio is a 3000 traffic the serial number is

Hi all,
Long time lurker of this site. Shamefully decided to get an account to get the radio working in my car
It's a 1997 Rover 416 so should be in the database.
Code embossed on the radio is -
RG594FT8038011

Dealer assured me the code was written in the handbook but it was not there :mad:. Very disappointing. MSE to the rescue?
