  • thanks wallbash, i thought that might have been the case. Any idea where i can get a code asap that would work without having to pay over the odds. I've had a look on ebay but not really sure which ones would definitly provide the correct code. Thanks again.

    Sorry I can't recommend any solution. And I cant remember seeing any on this forum.
    Trip back to fords , may be more expensive , but a guaranteed result.

    Or chuck the radio for another . Bit drastic . If you buy a second hand one off ebay
    AND it was missing the code would certainly supply you with one.

    I posted a link here. Never used them, so don't know how good they are or how much they charge.

    Thats the problem , until we have some positive replies to a 'paid' service , I would be very careful about recomending a company. If the cost is approaching the amount demanded by 'some' Ford service dealers i.e. £20 Plus the vat , a second hand radio unfortunately looks a better bet.

    So Sparks1982 please keep us informed , esp if you go with an independent supplier.
