What a great thread. It would have been helpful for the dealers to remember to write the codes in the book on delivery, of course.

I'm looking for a code for Ford stereo with serial number M194242 and would be grateful for any help.

philipc36 pm me and says the M****** code was from the top of the radio ( after removing radio from dashboard_

Thanks for the prompt reply, however my radio only has 6 numbered buttons. (It does have others to scan radio frequencies etc, but they are not numbered.)

Of course if your question was how do I correctly enter my code ?

Press 1st button 5 times
Press 2nd button 9 times

etc etc

When CORRECT code is displayed , press 5th .

Thanks for explaining it, I wasn't aware how to enter the codes correctly. The radio now works perfectly.
