Hello,

I've just bought a mondeo (51) ghia x. When I took it for a test drive on Saturday the radio worked fine. When I went to pick it up yesterday the security stip that enables the radio was missing. I bought it from a trader and they have said they will pay for another one if I buy it.... hmmmm! Well, that's a different story

My question is, if I get one on ebay or whatever, will I still only need the serial number from the main unit to make the radio work?

Yes, all you need is the M****** number.
