Earlier did it read "code" or were the dashes flashing. What happens if you press the "1" button. Try turning off, holding button 6 and turn on, failing that leave for half an hour turned on. What car / year is it ?
earlier the dashes were flashing (i think) and it let me enter numbers. now the dashes arent flashing and when i push any number nothing happens.
its a 1996 ford fiesta
i will try holding 6 when i turn it on
any other tips0 -

Hi James
Your radio is 'time locked', as a result of entering wrong codes.
Just turn your ignition key to the 'ACC' position 'Accessory', where
the 'battery light' shows on dash.
Power up the radio, and leave undisturbed until it resets allowing
for another code to be entered. Touching any buttons during this
process will reset the timer from the beginning again.
Your code supplied earlier is correct.
Cheers.
FYI: the process can take over an hour......0 -

also wanted to ask normally it says radio locked but than when you leave it alone for a while it displays a key sign and ---- so im amusing that is where you enter the code...is that right? if not please could you instruct how to enter the code and if there is an enter/OK key that i need to press in the end/start?
Turn on the set, the display will show ' CODE ' followed by '- - - - '.
Enter the four digit code via the [ pre-sets 1 - 6 ].
The code will be saved once the last digit is entered. The set will now operate.

Hi James
Wouldn't recommend when you're driving, there's often too much
interference that can cause the timer to continually reset. By all means try this... but the most reliable method is to let it sit with engine off. The radio requires two power feeds, permanent memory and ignition feed - hence the reason for having the ignition key turned on..
You'll know that the radio is ready for another code when the
dashes "----" disappear.0 -

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could possibly help me,
My Peugeot 106's battery died a while ago and the radio (a philips radio) is now demanding a code, which I do not have!
I've managed to get the radio out and on it's side it says that the serial number is PHAPKF19273305
The Product Number is FD1001069273305
The Model Number is 22RC200/65
and there is another number underneath that's: TOH815
and quite a few other numbers all over it, I'm not quite sure which the important ones are but if anybody could help me by giving me the code it would be very much appreciated!
thanks in advance if anybody is able to help at all!0 -
