You should be able to get it without removing the unit - hold down '6' and press '2'. If that doesn't work, try holding '6' and then '1'.

Many thanks for your help, just think I may have hit another problem.

I've done exactly what you've said and it has come up with a M but the rest of it is letters and not numbers!!!!
It showed me MGPDJS any ideas what that could be?
