The SERIAL NUMBER required for a Ford Code is found on a label on the radio casing and normally consists of a LETTER followed by digits

    eg M 1 2 3 4 5 6

I think that this radio was put in by a previous owner in the last few years and wasn't the original one. Should it still have the M123456 no. It doesn't seem to have it just the 3601860 serial number.

Thanks for your reply scottishsapper but i can only enter numbers 1-6........

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
    " CODE " then " - - - - "
Enter CODE in the order it is read:
For Example, To Enter Code 1234
    Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

Please note that code entry is only possible when "CODE" is shown in the display. If the display continually shows four lower bars " _ _ _ _ " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used up, and the unit will need to be decoded and reset

I believe you first requested this code at 12.17 then again at 12.56 WHY?
You then asked again at 6.06, than again at 8.02.

Repeated requests only waist your time and those that reply to them it also clogs up my in box with emails (most of the regulars subscribe to the thread, so get an email every time a post is made) this is so frustrating and I tend to totally ignore repeated requests (as I did with your last 2)

All requests get a reply by one of several regulars when we log on. If anyone has not had a reply it mean NO ONE has been in or is not able to help.

Sorry I dont understand because you told me to enter the code 0731 but i cant enter the 0 or 7 because the only numbers that can be entered are 0,1,2,3,4,5 or 6...........
    Try this:

press preset 1 till 0 appears on display
press preset 2 till 7 appears on display
press preset 3 till 3 appears on display
press preset 4 till 1 appears on display

    Display should now show 0731
