Assuming your Mondeo is post 2003 then it should come out fairly easy.Hi

any advice gratefully received

You do NOT need to buy special keys! A couple of slim screwdrivers or wire coathangers and a bit of 'fiddling about' will do it0 -
Unfortunately DELCO codes are not obtainable for free (using the Serial Number) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.Suffolk.Lad wrote: »Hi all. I have just finished installing bluetooth into Wife's Vauxhall Corsa and, surprise, surprise, the previous owners have not kept the radio code!!!
Reference numbers are as follows;
GM Delco No. 24423497
Type CDR2005(E)
UY8
ei 021554
GM020510076501
Would be extremely grateful if anybody could supply the code.
Thanks in advance.
The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)0 -
