Besides - does anyone know how on earth to get the radio out of the dash on a 306? Wild frikin horses?EXTRACTING THE RADIO FROM THE DASHBOARD1...Using a pair of Extractor Keys
If your radio has 2 pairs of holes on either side approx. 35mm ( 1.5") vertically apart then a pair of UNIVERSAL EXTRACTOR KEYS will be required.~
Available on Ebay or from your local Car Audio Shop (eg Halfords)
Insert them into each pair of holes (right + left) at the same time. This will release the 4 retaining clips on the radio casing Whilst doing that get a colleague to pull the radio out from the dashboard2....Using something else
..If you don`t have the correct extractor tools , then inserting 4 pieces of wire (using 4 pieces cut from a wire coathanger perhaps) or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 small Allen keys or even 4 darts into the four holes on the front (at the SAME TIME) whilst an assistant pulls the radio out of the dashboard will also work, with patience!.This can be fiddly as all 4 retaining clips have to be released at the same time but it is possible using care + patience.
Note : On some BLAUPUNKT radios the 4 holes may be protected by small screws. These can be unscrewed using the appropriate size of small Allen key.0 -

I think it`s a CLARION so unless it has a barcode with a Serial Number beginning with 700000 then the code won`t be available from these free Help Boards.0
