Car Radio Unlocking

Seems I have the same problem with my ford focus! Changed the battery but have not got the radio code. The serial number is M449950.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hey forum people,
my mum has a major catastrophe in her life because she had a flat battery in her 25000 mile v reg fiesta causing the stereo to lock out meaning she can no longer listen to her cliff Richard tapes on her 5 mile journeys. A good thing if you ask me but a major biggie to my mother! I've took the stereo out and got the serial number which is m174708, it's a standard ford stereo, please could you help me with this as my mother is distraught that she may never be able to listen to cliff singing to her while she pootles around, tried the local ford dealer that she bought the car from but they have no record of the car, but would be able to help for a fee if she was to bring the car to them. Hoping someone can help ease my mothers stress and have her listening to a bit of cliff again. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Molerat! Unfortunately I was so intent on putting up a thread in the right manner I put the wrong code on. Doh! Sorry!! I only have one chance left before it's locked out so I'll leave it until tomorrow now so I can calm down...
