:(I may be having an off day;) but I'm sure you have quoted the same numbers again!

LOL! no, its me that's having an off-day. There was only one digit difference, and I pasted it in from my first post, and then forgot to change the number.

    So, third time lucky:

    90533422

    GM0300W8499827

    Thanks again.

  • Hello!

Sorry to be even more clueless than most but how do I actually remove my car radio to find the serial number? I have an old fiesta, radio model 3000 traffic. Battery recently replaced and not a radio code in sight - gah!

    Thanks in advance

Have not got the foggiest idea! If I read that right you have a Puma with no fobs! Fobs for what?
If you are trying to re-programme a key try http://www.programyourkeys.com/Program_Car_Keys_-_Ford.html

If its not wht you are looking for re-post on the main board and not the Radio decode threads

First - try pressing buttons 2 + 6 (2 + 5) on some models this gives the serial.

If that does not work look HERE you do not need the tools they say (tho ithey do help) you can remove it using a couple of thin screwdrivers or similar, bit fiddly but can be done
    Good Luck

    Hi chaps,
hopefully you'll be able to help me.
Ford fiesta cd radio 6000 cd.
    serial number M266212

Would be nice to be able to drown out the noise from the passenger seat!
