Beware! I have tried to buy info from car-radio-unlockingDOTcoDOTuk but not received anything. I have a sinking feeling that they have taken my money and don't provide anything! :eek:

Please help if possible,

I tried that and the button number 1 is solely for entering the code number 1. e.g. I pressed it twice and it entered 11--.
Is there another code you were going to suggest if 9246 didn't work?

Hi, I still have (a little) confidence in the code! I think it may be the way the code is entered. There are several models of radio in 206's and the code entry is not the same for eah one! (oh that life was simple!)
Best if you have a look HERE this covers most of the models fitted to Peugeots.
Maybe RegWorts or MoleRat can double check the code when they next come in.

Peugeot T1 LOW

Code Entry as Follows:
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE " then " - - - - "
Enter CODE in the order it is read - eg:
For Example, To Enter Code 1234
Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.


If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Please check your Serial Number again to make sure it is correct.

If it is correct , then unfortunately your code will not be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as this Serial Number is not in the available PHILIPS database.

It requires access to the original manufacturer`s database which is only available from your Main Dealer .(and a few of the larger Professional Radio Decode Specialists)

Otherwise try a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will electronically "read "/ recode the memory chip (EEPROM) using a laptop and specialist software.
