From the digging I've done it appears that it is not possible to get the code for a Volvo V40 HU-605 cd/radio without sending the unit off- is this correct?

My car battery recently died on me. Upon replacing it, it would appear as though I need a code to unlock the radio. Are you able to provide me with one as the silence is driving me mad. The details of the radio are as follows:
