  • Each time you press button 1 then number will change from 1 to 0
    So - press button 1 - 3 times, button 2 - 5 times button 3 - 9 times button 4 9 times. display should now show 3599
Then press and hold button 5

Hi - Thanks for your help. However the code cannot be 3599 as the digits do not cycle once you have pressed it - so the code has to be a 4 digit number with digits between 1 and 6. Would you be able to have a look?

Please help! You will be such a lifesaver

    Thanks ScottishSapper! Much appreciated.
  • My wife's MGF recently refused to start, at which point she decided that as a result of our marriage vows she had the right to take my car as her own, leaving me to use public transport. After three weeks of the bus, I finally had the opportunity and good weather to fix the car which required new HT leads and battery. The car now runs again, but my wife doesn't want it back unless the radio works, for which she now informs me she has no radio code. I'm sure she's angling for a new fancy stereo, but if I could get the code for the original it would make me (if not my wife) very happy. The serial number for the head unit is:

    RG747FW2026171.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry but the code for that serial IS 3599.
Not sure where the problem may be. Try having a look at http://www.decodemyradio.co.uk/entry.php

Hi, not sure what unit is in a T reg but suspect it looks a bit like this:

Hopefully if not exactly then should be similar. (No need to do step 3)
