Johnforshaw2003: I think you will have to remove your radio to find the serial, with ours there are 2 little holes in the front, I had to stick 2 of those little micro screwdrivers in (one in each hole obviously) then I could pull the radio out. Hope this helps.

I disconnected the battery on my wifes Focus yesterday and of course after wading through all the books in the glove box found there was no code for the radio.

Its a 6000 CD RDS - info on the top label FD600A M046044.

    Hope some one can help.

    Thanks

Stupid question time but do i need to remove my radio to find the serial number? Ive got a Vauxhall Zafira

    Many thanks

Yep it'll be on a sticker on the back / side / top. If you're lucky it'll slide out using removal keys or similar, if you're unlucky (like me) you'll have to remove half the dashboard to extract it!
  • Hi there.
Have tried really hard to get a code for my radio for free online and asking dealers but no luck yet. I really dont think you should have to pay for this service.I mean ,most people have a 2nd hand car and the battery goes at sometime....then you have to start searching for the code which you probably dont have. Its not really something you think about when you buy a car,(it will be from now on!!)
So....Could anyone help me with a Clarion PU2294A(c) please
S/no CL0401Y0503073. There are 2 other numbers on a bar code sticker too...
C70000001423 and C6BV0503073 dont know if these are important.
Thanks so much for any help you can give.

Worth a try, the two barcodes on the side, the bottom one, if it ends 3073 the code should be 4241, if the barcode ending 1423 is the bottom one, the code should be 2651, hope it works for you;)
