Car Radio Unlocking

In another note, something seems to be wrong with the radio in general.

It took me a job putting it back in, had take the glovebox out because the wiring was trapped.

But now even when i turn it on (of course i havn't put in a code yet) The whole thing except the date and time is blank.

It doesn't display SAFE anymore, yet i havn't touched it nor tried to input. Some sort of connection problem perhaps?

Or something else perhaps.

I can't find it in my paper ...

ive read somewhere that the code for this radio can only be received from vauxhall.

is this the case?????
