Thanks worked a treat :beer:0 -
6161 is the correct code for the Serial Number quoted.....but this may be the wrong number.
The correct Serial Number is the one found on a label on the radio casing.
OK, I've finally managed to get down to Halfords, buy the keys to remove the radio, and it does indeed look as if the serial number on the radio is different to the one in the log book.
The serial number on the radio is: M116870
If you can spare 5 minutes (I appreciate you've already given me a few pointers already), and pass me the keycode for the above serial I'd really appreciate it.
Many thanks for all your help!0 -

The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)0 -
