Unfortunately the majority of VW radio codes (including this one made by Philips) are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database .

The best option is a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who can electronically read / recode the code memory chip (usually while you wait)

Sorry, afraid we cannot decode units starting with 'V'.
Local dealer or Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who can electronically read / recode the code memory chip.

Hi I have the ford fiesta model 1997, I have read the posts about getting the serial number, but with my radio it is inbuilt into the dashboard so cannot remove the radio from the car, how else I am able to get the radio code, the silence in the car on the way home from work is killing me :mad:

My Radio model number is 3000

try :::::: Holding down 6 then 1
with luck this should give you the serial number (starts with 'M')
