There should be another 14 character Serial Number , usually beginning with
RG ++++++++++++ or GM or PH or similar ....and quite often found stamped in the metal casing

Also quote the make of car it is fitted into

my mum had a new battery put in her car and now the radio doesn't work. She put the wrong code in three times and now it just says "code" and has 4 dashes, but won't do anything when a button is pressed. It's a ford fiesta and the radio model number is FD 2015
the serial is S SPM152820

any ideas? Thanks
