Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes (including your CDR 500) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

i have just changed the battery on my 03 focus and the code that is with the original paper work does not work,so i think the radio has been changed.The radio is a 6000cd rds eon serial number M440564.Any help in finding the code would be appreciated

Hi helpers.

Bought a focus and naturally the audio code has been detached from the audio book and with a flat battery I've now got a dead radio. Just taken it out this morning and I have serial no. of M189103. If it matters it's a 4000 RDS radio.
