    Duplicate request!

All requests on this forum are read and will be answered eventually ( once an answer is found !) ...Bumping is not necessary

Multi-posted requests (including "bumping") will be ignored on this forum as they are both timewasting and annoying to the volunteers who read and answer these code calculation requests.

If you are that impatient for your code then try an online Decode Service who will supply your code by return.

I was in the process of attempting to obtain your code ( for free !) from another source....but this has now been abandoned !

    It is that annoying !

well sorry but i thought the next post after mine had moved mine out of sight not too experianced on forums oh well cheers anyway

I used this car audio forum for my code, I got it unlocked in about 10mins

    http://www.usedcarmart.co.uk/forum/f27-car-audio.html

Yes ...unlocked in 10 minutes but they charge a fiver

Promise me a fiver and I`ll provide a code in 9 minutes !

However this is the MoneySAVINGExpert Forum where we try and do it for free so a little patience is required.

Your radio is made by VDO and unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes (including your CDR2005 ) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
  • Hi, I have a similar request to everyone else in this thread. My 2001 Jeep Cherokee was missing the owners manual when I bought it and now following maintenance where the battery was disconnected the radio is asking for the code. It's a Chrysler badged radio, manufacturer unknown, with 5 presets on the front (numbered 1 to 5). The serial number is T Q1 AA 136 0 E2127.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

    thanks for that info sarahlou
  • Amazed at the speed of the reply, thank ScottishSapper. Faster than me fitting the radio back in the car. Unfortunately, in removing the radio in order to get the serial number, I must have fused something in the radio because it no longer turns on . Amateur mechanic, my bad, should have left it to the professionals...

Unfortunately your CHRYSLER code is not in my small Chrysler database as it is one of the later ones.

See your PM for a possible long shot to try and obtain this code for free.
