  • ive never needed a code for a radio and well i still dont.
its for one of my workmates, he needs the code for his ford transit stereo, its the new style 6000cd and the serial number according to him is V005693.

if anyone could provide the code he would be very greatful.

Sorry we can't help with Serial Nos starting with V.
We can only help with ones beginning with A, C, L or M
  • I tried 1658 but it doesn't work? Is there another one I could try?
  • Just need to wait the 30 mins to put it in, doh!

    Thanks very much!

Checked again and this is the code generated. It is possible your unit has previously been decoded (dealer or pro-decoder) and if so i BELIEVE you will have to go back to one.

First check the serial number you quoted is correct

Second, if it is, than wait around and one of the others may have more infor for you
  • Hi
Just bought a 2nd hand car and the radio said "Code In" on the front. I bought a remote for it as the front of the stereo is just a black screen with no buttons and apparantly I need a code that is something like "Open-Sound-Att-Source" as opposed to "1-2-3-4"

I can't find anywhere to get this code for sensible money, I have the model and seriel number, if anyone can help that would be great.
    Model: Sony XR-M510
    Seriel number: 3537350

    Thanks
    Tom:confused:

Any other suggestions as the list of codes on the other link didn't seem to work?
Getting a sore throat from having to sing to myself while driving and it really doesn't sound good either.

There is no software available to "the public" that will provide the code you require. You will have to use a Ford Garage or Professional Decoder Company.
  • Great service you're providing! Can you get me the code for my wife's focus please, SN: M022646

Please confirm that the serial number you gave is correct and came from the sticker on the back / side of the radio and not from any book, card or piece of paper you may have. If it is correct you will have to go to a pro decoder who can re-code the radio for you.
