Maestro is being phased out and soon there will be a Mastercard Debit card.
The fact that more banks issue Visa Debit is because it's cheaper.
im sure clydesdale are already supplying them, interestingly when i queried this myself with them as i knew that a long time ago i said oh hang on a min, is this why my maestro now only has 16 numbers a start date a finishin date and no issue number? is it basically a mastercard debit except still bein refered to as a maestro....... the cs rep replied YES.............0 -
