I've just had yet another train journey to work with a moron who doesn't understand the concept of a "personal" stereo and thinks everyone should have listen to the garbage pumping put of his poxy mp3 player. I hope it deafens him completely as soon as possible and then we will all have peace and quiet.
By all means listen to what you like but don't inflict your carp on everyone else :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Rant over- I feel better now

I have that at least once a week - usually the morning where my hyfever/allergies are playing up and i have a massive headache - and can't use my own MP3 player!
Can you not use an MP3 player to cover the noise?Using my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0 -

It's a vicious circle, the more deaf he goes the louder he has to play it to hear it at a "normal" level the worse it is for everyone else... the more deaf he goes...:mad:Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Have you seen the ones who use portable speakers instead of headphones :mad:0

And the same applies to people who own those tacky cinema/surround sound systems who don't give a toss about their neighbours.
It is beyond me as to why someone who owns a TV that is half the length of their living room needs to have an accompanying sound system with bass levels that reverberate through walls, floors and ceilings to the annoyance of all of those living around them.0 -
Did you not ask them nicely if they could turn it down? Usually works for me.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

My friend used to have that on her bus journey to work every morning. A group of schoolkids would have their RnB blaring out of some tinny speakers every single day. One day she had the bright idea of borrowing a Flanagan and Allen CD from her grandfather and she played that at full volume on the bus. Most of the passengers were regulars and realised what she was up to and were killing themselves laughing whilst the schoolkids got more and more annoyed!0 -
Have you asked if they will turn it down? People are usually quite nice about it.0
