I think its Valencia from http://parsdatabase.co.uk/
then go onto 1962/1963 - Inter-City Fairs Cup. It's the only Spanish team I can find but I'm not 100% certain, if anyone can find anything definite be my guest
I've had a look through that database and I make it Real Zaragoza in the quarter finals of the 1965/66 Inter City Fairs Cup
First Leg: (H) East End Park, 3rd March 1966
Second Leg: (A) Romareda Stadium, 30th March 1966
Can someone double check to confirm this for us please?
Sorry am all a bit sixes and sevens today!:eek:0 -

No I have not put the label at a 90 degree angle - that makes good sense, will try that. I bet that's something every newbie learns eventually.
Not a newbie comper generally but am with the postals.
Thanks!
I don't think it's too obvious really- you'd expect Royal Mail to have a bit more common sense. I learnt the hard way when I was a kid entering (and winning!) every competition that the local paper ran. We had a great postie though and he used to just take them back to the sorting office. Needless to say, I soon learnt the 90 degree trick!0 -

I recently learned that too, as I had a postcard returned! I don't know how they get sent back, as surely they should read the address on the side with the stamp  ...... but the 90 degree trick is working so far - just need some postal wins now :rotfl:Best 2018 wins: £1500, £500 John Lewis voucherBest 2019 wins: 18 of the latest DVDsBest 2020 wins: £100 cash 2021 wins: 130 books 2021 wins: Jubilee silver necklace 2023: 8xfootball shirts, Spar vouchers, £200 Tesco voucher,0 -
You could try puttin sellotape over your address, apparently the sorting machine cant read it so it gets sorted manually xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I have been putting the address label at 90 degree angle and above my address put sender and underneath my address my email address or phone number.
I havent had any returned in months (I will probably jinx myself now!)0 -
For what it's worth, I put my labels on diagonally. Always write From: above the name & 2 lines under the postcode. I write TO in big letters for the addy to where it's going.
Since I've done that I've had none back. I'll take a pic & show you when I do postals tomorrow to see if that helps xxx JoJo xx
