I am a stranger to these parts but wonderd if you guys can advise - I have some labels from the Oasis comp but the prize is not my cup of tea but the comper in me won't let me throw them away - would I be able to post the codes here for someone who is interested to use or....any advice or offers to do my ironing welcome0

as far as rebound postcards go, ive not had any in quite a while......i simply stick my own addy labels on at a right angle on same side of the mail to handwritten addy. i make sure the hand written post code is very legible and bigger than my labels postcode, and if there is an answer or anything it goes under my label. i also have my phone no and email addy printed under the printed postcode...but it is since being very careful to ensure that the hand written post code is easy to read that they have stopped coming back. (watch ill get one tomorrow lol) i dont write to or anything, but i do get the white postcards with the stamp square printed on iyswim so theyre more like the picture postcards which do tend to say too on the rhs rather than plain white.0

im sure they would be most welocme but i would maybe have people pm you for the codes as ones posted here previosuly have been used and not claimed as used which means someone else has tried using it to get a text back saying its already gone so wasted their text money (iyswim).0 -

would it be better if we sent our entries in an envelope am rather new to postals, but i did work for royal mail for a few years in the sorting officeplease dont hold it against me :rotfl: anyway while sorting the mail anything on a postcard was called flimsys and very rarely got sorted they way they were spose too they dont go thru the machine and have to get handled manually at the end of the night they are last to be done and if they dont have time they get shoved in a box and put on the shelf ::cool:
nice to have some inside info and am sure someone from royal will come along and correct me.....
happy comping everyone :rotfl::rotfl:
The prob is that most comps state it must be sent on a postcard. You're totally right with the fact envelopes aren't as "flimsy" but I'd be concerned about disqualification....:( Although perhaps other people have more experience?0 -

Were they left forever on "the shelf"? :eek:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
If you see it in your mind, you're going to hold it in your hand.

That will explain my lack of success with the postals0 -

I have put out an SOS call (a PM really
) to custardy. He is your man. Hopefully, he will be in soon and you can ask away to your heart's content
Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.
