I always thought it was a case of 'one size fits all' then last week needed to get a new tyre and the garage asked for the key and said they're all different.
I have a Fiesta and was only given one key when i bought it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Hi
Never had a problem with locking wheelnuts however, if you choose to replace with standard bolts, you would be advised to notify your insurer, if these were fitted as original equipment.

16 month old thread but I'll still add my penneth. My dad's was all chewed up by all the grease monkeys when it went into a fitter for whatever work and they use their air guns on them to tighten too much etc until one day it was impossible to get it off again..... on that occasion it was taken back to the last grease monkey outfit to work on it and they took about an hour getting it off...... I told him to throw them in the bin and replace with normal bolts.... he took my advice and now every new car he buys gets the same treatment on day 1 the wheel lockers are replaced with standard bolts. Haven't had any wheels stolen yet. Unless you live in the !!!!!! pits you are not going to lose your wheels.0
