Well done mate,Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0

The netbook itself cost £200.00, however when I checked the Argos website, it is £179.99!!! You can imagine my annoyance at this - Jeez!!! Anyway, I went down to the Argos branch I bought the netbook from to ask about getting a £20 refund - and they were shut! Typical!!! Will have to nip in after work tomorrow. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7C14419042.htm
I thought the prices on the Argos website differed from their stores because the website has lower overheads than the retail business?0 -

I like your post, lots of useful suggestions in there - thankyou.
Don't worry, you're not the only one who suffers from 'new shiny' syndromeI've found, when I can muster the willpower, waiting a few hours (or better a day) after I see something I want a great way to stop myself. It's amazing how little I care about getting some things that I 'needed desperately' a day ago :rotfl:
Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -
edinburgher - you may be right. But in my case there was a different explanation. I went to Argos in my 15 min tea break this morning - I work close by - and they explained it to me. The netbook I had seen for £179.99 was from the old catalogue and of a lesser spec than the one I purchased. So although they look identical, mine is slightly better. I had presumed that the cheaper one was the one I had bought and subsequently felt slightly cheesed off as you can imagine. So there it is, I'm glad that's clear...
So...tonight I'm going to go to Asda and copper up what few coppers I have accumulated in my empty coffee jar, do a bit of food shopping, then come home and do the chores...oh well, at least monday is overTotal in ISAs = £8,863.500 -

How's the netbook treating you - pleased with your purchase?0
-
Yeah very pleased with it! Thanks for asking
It looks cool being so small compared to the laptop. Can do spreadsheets on it aswell. And the OS is windows 7 starter which is a lot better than xp in my opinion. Overall it gets a thumbs up from me :j
Pay day tomorrow! So that means from this wage I can save a grand total of....wait for it....<<drumroll>>......£13.53!!!!! Wow!!!! At least it's better than overspending plus I bought a netbook, a new top and a pair of trainers in this month, totalling £270.00. So now I will have to wait another whole month until I can hit the £1k mark
Got to pay for o2 wireless festival ticket tomorrow....that's £54 gone straight away but will be well worth it. And got to get my mum some swimming goggles/cap for her birthday. So there's another £15/20. Will get 5 hours overtime @ 1.5 time in my wage tomorrow though which will go towards paying for these extra costs.
Glad it's Friday tomorrow! And the clocks go forwards on Sunday morning so light nights and good weather is just around the corner! happy days :TTotal in ISAs = £8,863.500 -
Shop around for swim hats and goggles, try sportsdirect or mandmdirect on the web, doubt they'd cost £15-20 there. Bet you can get them cheaper.
Edit - hats - http://www.sportsdirect.com/Products/Default.aspx?DescriptionFilter=swim%20hat
goggles - http://www.sportsdirect.com/Products/Default.aspx?DescriptionFilter=goggles (speedo kick for £3.99 looks a good buy)
Obv cheaper if you can shop on high street rather than their website unless there is a free delivery code on the web somewhere#39 - Save £12k in 20250
