BR is it right for me

Options
hi

i wrote a while ago regarding BR and if it was for me. I have more or less forgot about the whole situation as best as i can.I owe roughly £25000 all of which is unsecured debt.
I have payment plans in place with all but the amounts are so small it would take 20 or more years to repays the debts.

My credit is shot to bits, i cannot even apply for the Granite CC to help rebuild credit, not that i want it but was curious.

All these debts are from my previous marriage and were ran up by the Ex as revenage, but a long story, basically the debts are mine and mine alone.

I do not own my house nor do i have anything of value.

Ok, so i have spoke to the National debt helpline and they agree that BR could be the only choice i have.

I have been reading threads and picking up bits and bobs from others.

I am trying to do a SOA,and want to be as accuate as possible. In the income part, should i put down my partners tax credits and child benfit. For the tax credit its a joint application but it paid to her.She does not work and uses this money towards food and clothing with my help from my wages best i can.

My daughter recieves DLA which again is paid to my wife, do i need to put this, or on a SOA do i only put what i bring in and spend,

I think i am asking is it house hold income or just mine

thank you in advance

Yes you need to put down what money she gets, what you would not put down is the daughters DLA

  • i dont understand why i have to out down the money my patner gets, its child tax credits and child allowance. The debts are mine, so why do i have to give details of her income?
