Virgin raising prices by cutting discount

My Virgin bill has increased by £7 a month over the last year due to various price rises. I've just had an email saying they're now removing the £1 discount for ebilling, but pointing out that customers without ebilling are still paying £1.25 more. Seems a bit cheeky to me to offer an incentive, and then remove it in this way. Has anyone else had this?

Just had the same e-mail.
My bill has been rising all the time too.
It makes me wonder whether they can do this mid contract though, putting the charges up willy nilly.0
