virgin now charge for ebilling?!

But don’t forget, there’s still a £1.25 charge for customers who choose to have paper bills, so you’ll carry on saving £1.25 a month – and a few trees too.

so first they persuaded everyone to save them money by switching to paper-free bills, and now they decide to profit out of it by charging everyone who decided to go paper-free. The only real difference in getting a paper bill is now saving 25pence, where I bet it costs more for Vmedia to print and post a statement. They are obviously short of money, after all, Branson needs all our cash to send a rocket to the moon.

I don't see where they say you will be charged to be paperfree, just that you no longer get a bonus to do so. By all means go back to paper billing, but your bills will be £1.25 higher than they will be if you stay on paperless.

This doesn't make sense, your bill was previously £2.25 less than an identical bill with paper billing, now it's only £1.25 less. It's still saving you money to be paperless.

Oh thanks Mrs Bartolozzi, I should have read more carefully. Guess I will stay with paperless for now but it is wrong that they give people a bonus and then withdraw it.

I agree with T800...if Virgin are no longer going to pay us for going paperless that means we will have an extra £1 on our bill - for Going Green. Honestly, companies will look everywhere to wring as much money out of us as they. They wonder why we leave them. I'm paying more to Virgin Media with less channels than I started with! How does that work?! The less I have, the more I pay!

You'll be saving on batteries though - less skipping through all the carp looking for something worth staying in for before giving up and going down the pub.
