Keystone, yes it's a private car park but the question really is whether there is any requirement or expectation for them to make an effort to identify an intentionally created hazard in the same way that speed bumps are sign posted on the public road?

There would be an expectation for any obstruction to be marked and meet a reasonable standard as part of their duty of care to people that they invite onto their premises. Can you drive over highway humps OK ?

Get photos and measurements of the hump. If it is outside of the highway dimensions then a nice letter, giving them 14 days to respond, claiming the cost of repairs. If no response or a denial of responsibility then a letter before action then small claims.

On the subject of lowered vehicles.....

My Vec is lower than the standard car..... Why?

Vauxhall springs last < 40'000 miles before they start to snap and cost over £250 a set
Aftermarket springs have lifetime warranty and cost less than £150

It was not the intention to lower the vehicle, but the aftermarket springs are intended to fit ALL 2002+ Vectra's including the sports versions (which are 15mm lower).

Savage speed bumps, high kerbs and steep driveways will 9 times in 10 scrape my front bumper no matter how slowly I drive.
